The back reads, "Of all the Victorian house styles, Queen Anne is the most elaborate and eccentric. The style is often called romantic and femine. Queen Anne became an architectural fashion in the 1880's and 1890's. Many of these homes are lavished with gingerbread and feature a steeply pitched and irregular roof. The overall shape of the house is asymmetrical and have features of bay windows, balconies, stained glass, turrets, porches, brackets and an abundance of decorative details combined in unexpected ways."
