Shelia's Collectibles in Charleston, SC was founded in 1979 with $5 and a borrowed saw by Shelia Thompson and her husband, Jim.

After Shelia's Collectibles went into bankruptcy a couple of years ago, they reorganized as Custom Wood Gifts. Shortly thereafter Shelia and Jim Thompson disassociated themselves from the new company. It is our opinion that the production values are not the same as when Shelia was there.

Therefore based upon changes made in their management and products, we will no longer be offering their current items and will be liquidating our extensive original Shelia's inventory. As inventory is sold out, IT WILL NOT BE REPLACED.

Now the exciting news about Shelia Thompson's next generation of original art. She has turned her creativity towards designing jewelry, Charleston prints and metal art that are exclusively sold in a handful of South Carolina locations.

Because of our longtime working relationship with Shelia and Jim, we have been able to obtain the rights to offer you her new pieces of art. We've had comments from numerous customers over the past couple of years that their local stores have quit carrying Shelia's Collectibles so they've had to resort to the internet to find what they want. If you can't find what you're looking for from us, here's a hint: we've observed that the Shelia's (Custom Wood Gifts) web site lists their prices, what appears to be, about 95-cents above suggested retail so as to probably not compete with their remaining dealers. Therefore I would recommend searching Google for "Shelia's" plus the product code and buy where you find the cheapest price since they're all the same product.
