Catfish Plantation is the birthplace of Paul Richards, a famous baseball player for the New York Yankees and manager of the Baltimore Orioles. Three spirits reside here. Elizabeth was murdered here the night before her wedding by a jealous lover in the early 1920's and often appears in her wedding gown standing in the front window. Will, a farmer, died here during the depression and is often sighted in the lobby (the front porch) wearing overalls. Caroline, the piano player at a local Baptist church, died here in 1970 and can be heard playing the piano, although there is no piano here now. Catfish Plantation maintains a journal in the lobby which patrons can register their ghostly experiences; a must read because ghostly events happen often."
