Harris was famous for the African American folktales of Br'er Rabbit, Br'er Fox, and other critters, collectively known as the Uncle Remus Tales. The charming Queen Anne Victorian style home is filled with turn-of-the-century furniture, books and memorabilia that belonged to the Harris family. Storytelling of the antics of Br'er Rabbit and friends is often featured at the house."
